Nelson Armstrong is an Animator and Illustrator based in Naarm / Melbourne. He completed a Bachelor of Design (Animation and Interactive Media) at RMIT University in 2011. Nelson specialises in 2D animation and compositing, both hand-drawn and digital. He has worked on animation projects with organisations and art centers across the Northern Territory including Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, Megafauna Central Alice Springs, Central Land Council, Watch This Space Artist Run Initiative, Original Power, Tangentyere Artists, Papunya Tjupi Arts, Yarrenyty Arltere Artists and Hermannsburg Potters Aboriginal Corporation. Working in roles including animator, director, compositor, illustrator and storyboard artist. He has conducted print and animation workshops at Papunya Tjupi Arts and Gap Youth & Community Centre.
